TRUMP’S OCEAN OF BLOOD: WHEN POWER TURNS TO MURDER

By Rob McConnell | TWATNews | The Canadian News Network | The ‘X’ Chronicles Newspaper

Donald Trump once again believes himself to be above the law — not just America’s law, but the law of the world. His latest declaration that he has the authority to order lethal force against so-called “narco-terrorists” in international waters is not only legally indefensible — it is morally repugnant. If any other leader on Earth made such a claim, it would be called what it is: murder.

Trump, however, cloaks his crimes in the language of patriotism, claiming he is protecting America’s interests. In truth, he is protecting nothing but his ego — a boundless black hole of self-interest and delusion that consumes the very principles of democracy he swore to defend.

A President Turned Pirate

International waters are not a private battlefield for any single nation, least of all for a man who treats international law like a personal nuisance. Trump’s recent authorization of attacks against “suspected” traffickers outside U.S. jurisdiction crosses a line that civilized nations have respected for centuries.

In international law, suspected criminals are not targets — they are to be detained, charged, and tried. To attack and kill them without evidence, without due process, and without the consent of the international community is not an act of defense; it is an act of piracy. And if Trump has indeed ordered lethal strikes without proof or oversight, then he has committed murder on the high seas — plain and simple.

This is not “strong leadership.” It’s lawlessness masquerading as authority, driven by a man who has never learned the meaning of restraint.

A Dictator Without Borders

What Trump is doing is not just illegal — it’s imperial. He’s extending America’s military reach into every ocean and every shore under the delusion that his title gives him dominion over the planet. He has long confused the presidency with kingship, and now, with commander-in-chief powers at his disposal, he acts as though he is judge, jury, and executioner for the entire world.

But the seas do not belong to Trump. They do not belong to America. They belong to humanity. When he orders extrajudicial killings in waters shared by all nations, he is not defending freedom — he is dismantling it.

And the world watches in uneasy silence.

Where Is the International Outrage?

The absence of international response is as shocking as Trump’s actions themselves. Where are the voices of condemnation from the United Nations, from NATO, from the so-called guardians of international order? Why is a man who claims the right to kill beyond his borders not facing sanctions, investigations, or tribunals?

Silence, in this case, is complicity. The international community cannot claim to stand for justice while allowing one man to play God on the open seas. Every drone strike ordered without jurisdiction, every life extinguished without trial, stains not only Trump’s hands but the conscience of every government that allows him to act unchecked.

A Legacy of Blood and Arrogance

Trump’s presidency has been a masterclass in self-glorification. From his opulent galas to his “America First” isolationism, every decision has revolved around his own reflection. Now, as he toys with international military aggression, his delusion of divine authority threatens global stability itself.

This is not the behavior of a statesman — it’s the pathology of a man drunk on power. His sense of entitlement is absolute; he sees the world not as a community of nations but as a stage for his personal theatre of dominance.

In Trump’s worldview, the law bends, morality breaks, and truth is whatever he says it is. But beneath the swagger lies cowardice — the fear that without constant conflict, without constant attention, he will cease to exist.

The Final Reckoning

History is unforgiving to tyrants who mistake power for divinity. If Trump’s actions in international waters continue unchecked, he will not go down as a strong leader, but as a war criminal cloaked in patriotism. The international community must decide whether to remain silent or to act — because each day that passes without accountability brings us closer to a world where power replaces justice, and the sea becomes a graveyard for Trump’s vanity.

Donald Trump is not the world’s sheriff. He is not its savior. He is, increasingly, its most dangerous outlaw.
