TRUMP SAYS “WHO, ME?” — AFTER BEING MENTIONED OVER 1,500 TIMES IN THE EPSTEIN FILES
By Rob McConnell | Wednesday, November 12, 2025

Apparently, Donald Trump has discovered a brand-new world record: being mentioned more than 1,500 times in the Epstein files while maintaining absolute, unwavering innocence. That’s right — 1,500 mentions, and not a single thing to see here, folks. Move along.
According to the latest document dumps surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein saga, Trump’s name appears like confetti at a victory parade — sprinkled throughout emails, contacts, travel records, and witness statements. Yet, the former president insists he had nothing — absolutely nothing — to do with any of it.
Of course, the Trump defense machine rolled out on cue, calling the revelations “fake news,” “a hoax,” and “another Democrat plot.” You almost have to admire the consistency. In Trump’s world, even when his name shows up a thousand times in a scandal, it’s because someone else put it there.
The Art of Denial
Back in 2002, Trump proudly told New York Magazine he’d known Jeffrey Epstein for fifteen years, praising him as “a terrific guy” who “likes beautiful women as much as I do — many of them on the younger side.” Fast-forward to 2025, and he swears he barely knew the man. Just a handshake here, a wave there — maybe they once shared the same oxygen at Mar-a-Lago.
It’s the kind of memory loss that could make even the most seasoned amnesiac jealous.
Selective Spotlighting
Reports indicate that investigators were instructed to flag any Epstein files mentioning Trump. Because, of course, when you’re completely innocent, you definitely want special federal labeling every time your name pops up in a child-trafficking case. Totally normal behavior.
Meanwhile, the Justice Department says there’s “no credible evidence” linking Trump to criminal acts. That’s comforting, though it does raise the question — if 1,500 mentions don’t warrant curiosity, what does? A neon sign?
When Denial Becomes an Art Form
Trump’s relationship with truth has always been… flexible. He’s denied climate change, election results, responsibility for January 6th, and now, it seems, even his own existence within the Epstein orbit. He’s not just rewriting history — he’s running the printing press.
As his team spins the Epstein revelations as just another “deep-state witch hunt,” the rest of us are left wondering how someone can appear more often in a scandal than the scandal’s headline act — and still claim it’s all fake.
The Final Word
Donald Trump’s reaction to the Epstein file dump is the same as always: total denial, absolute deflection, and a healthy serving of outrage. But 1,500 mentions aren’t exactly a rounding error. They’re more like a chorus line screaming for attention while the lead performer pretends the music isn’t playing.
For now, the official line remains that there’s “nothing to see here.” Which is fine — as long as we all agree that 1,500 references to the same name in one of the most notorious scandals of the century is, apparently, nothing at all.
Move along, everyone. Move along.
