TRUMP THE SEASIDE SCOURGE — AMERICA’S FIRST PIRATE-IN-CHIEF

Move over, Blackbeard. Step aside, Captain Kidd.
There’s a new pirate terrorizing the high seas, and he’s not hiding behind an eyepatch or a parrot. He’s hiding behind the Seal of the President of the United States.
Donald J. Trump—self-appointed Admiral of Chaos—has transformed the U.S. military into his own personal pirate fleet, patrolling international waters not to defend democracy, but to satisfy his insatiable craving for power, dominance, and explosions on the evening news. Forget treasure chests—Trump’s fleet plunders human lives, as if the oceans were his private shooting gallery.
And the international community?
Still staring like confused tourists on a cruise ship wondering why cannonballs are flying past the deck.
THE JOLLY ROGER, NOW WITH SPRAY TAN
Pirates once flew black flags to declare themselves outlaws. Trump has upgraded the aesthetic: a presidential flag waving proudly over illegal military strikes. His message is the same as every pirate in history: “I answer to no one.”
With Trump, evidence is optional, law is inconvenient, and human rights are something that happen to other people. He claims his victims are “narco-terrorists,” which is convenient, since the only proof he ever needs is his own imagination. Under Trump, “suspected criminal” has become the new “fire at will.”
Why waste time proving guilt when you can just blow them up and tweet about it?
THE OCEAN IS NOT TRUMP’S PERSONAL SHOOTING RANGE
International maritime law exists for a reason: to stop the exact kind of behaviour Trump is now proudly engaging in. But Trump treats these laws the same way he treats climate change, treaties, ethical norms, and reading in general: with absolute contempt.
The world has rules.
Trump has whims.
Guess which one he follows?
He deploys warships into foreign waters, authorizes attacks without oversight, and kills without trial—all while insisting he’s protecting America. Protecting America from what, exactly? Fishing boats? Cargo vessels? His own boredom?
THE PIRATE FLEET OF “PRESIDENT YO-HO-HO”
Let’s be honest: Trump isn’t running a military. He’s running a nautical cult. His admirals are expected to salute, smile, and obey. International law? Congressional authority? Facts? Those belong in Davy Jones’s locker.
And when the world raises concerns about him turning the oceans into his own violent playground, Trump shrugs and doubles down, because of course he does—pirates don’t negotiate, they plunder.
PIRATES TAKE GOLD. TRUMP TAKES LIVES.
Historical pirates wanted treasure.
Donald Trump wants headlines.
With every strike, every unauthorized raid, every conveniently vague claim that the target “deserved it,” Trump proves he’s less a commander-in-chief and more a serial violator of international law with the world’s most expensive navy at his disposal.
People are dying to feed his ego—and that is not hyperbole. Civilian crews, legitimate maritime workers, and innocent bystanders have become casualties of Trump’s floating tantrums.
WHERE IS THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY? ON A COFFEE BREAK?
If any other world leader behaved like this, the United Nations would be in emergency session before the ink dried. But Trump enjoys the world’s most powerful military like a pirate enjoys a stolen galleon—arrogantly, recklessly, and with zero accountability.
If a small nation did what Trump is doing, they’d be sanctioned, condemned, and possibly hauled before the International Criminal Court. But Trump? He gets away with it because the world fears confronting the biggest kid on the playground—even when he’s swinging an anchor around like a maniac.
TRUMP ISN’T A PRESIDENT. HE’S A PIRATE WITH BETTER BRANDING.
At this point, the only thing missing is Trump renaming the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt to the U.S.S. MAGA Marauder and demanding that all sailors grow beards and yell “YARGH!” during roll call.
He wants the power of an emperor, the swagger of a pirate, and the consequences of a toddler. And so far, he’s getting exactly what he wants.
TIME FOR THE WORLD TO WAKE UP
Donald Trump is not maintaining global order. He’s dismantling it.
He’s not enforcing justice. He’s sidestepping it.
He’s not defending America. He’s disgracing it.
The international community must recognize what is blatantly obvious: Trump is a lawless menace on the high seas. A pirate in a suit. A rogue admiral drunk on power and oblivious to the destruction he leaves behind.
And pirates—real pirates—have always been dealt with the same way: They are confronted, contained, and stopped.
Never indulged. Never ignored. Never allowed to rule the oceans unchecked.
Until global leaders find the courage to say “enough,” the world will continue to drift under the shadow of a pirate flag flying from the stern of the White House.
