Tyler Robinson, Charlie Kirk, And The Questions No One Wants To Ask

By Rob McConnell | TWATNews.com | September 15, 2025

The aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah has been dominated by one name: Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old student now branded the alleged shooter. Officials have pointed to Robinson’s radicalization, his ties to fringe corners of the internet, and his complicated personal life. But as investigators continue to build their case, one truth emerges—there are as many unanswered questions as there are accusations.

What the Police Say They Have

Utah Governor Spencer Cox and law enforcement agencies have publicly stated that Robinson is the suspect, citing witness accounts, surveillance, and circumstantial evidence. His family, as well as a transgender roommate and romantic partner, are reportedly cooperating with authorities. The narrative is being woven: Robinson, isolated and drawn to extremist content, turned violent.

What the Police Haven’t Shown

Despite headlines, officials have yet to release clear proof of where Robinson learned to shoot with such precision. Reports suggest the fatal shot was delivered from a rooftop, possibly hundreds of feet away—a feat that requires skill, training, or both. Was Robinson capable of this level of marksmanship? If so, who taught him? If not, then who really pulled the trigger?

The Disturbing Parallels

The Kirk killing is drawing comparisons to the assassination attempt on former President Trump in Pennsylvania in 2024. In that case, the shooter opened fire from a rooftop position roughly 400–450 feet away. Early estimates in the Kirk case put the distance between 400 and 600 feet, echoing not only the logistics but also the symbolism of striking a high-profile political figure from above, in broad daylight, before a crowd.

Two elevated shooters. Two politically charged targets. Two moments of chaos that rattled the nation.

The Uncomfortable Hypothesis

What if both Kirk and Robinson are, in a darker sense, sacrificial lambs? Was Kirk’s death truly the result of one man’s radicalization—or could it have been used, intentionally or not, to hand President Trump’s administration a pretext to further consolidate power?

History shows that leaders facing pressure have, at times, leaned on crisis to justify emergency powers. Could this tragedy be exploited to inflame division, tighten control, or suspend freedoms under the guise of “national security”?

This is not to say Robinson is innocent, nor that Kirk’s killing was staged. But in these times, when truth is slippery and narratives are weaponized, refusing to ask hard questions is more dangerous than asking them.

Looking Outside the Box

Americans deserve transparency. They deserve proof, not insinuation. They deserve a full accounting of how Robinson allegedly learned to fire a lethal shot, what the police actually have, and why the facts remain shrouded.

If we look only inside the box, we see a lone gunman, radicalized, and a fallen conservative firebrand. But if we look outside the box, we must confront the possibility that both Tyler Robinson and Charlie Kirk have been transformed into martyrs—one vilified, one sanctified—both serving a political cause larger than themselves.

And that possibility, tragic as it is, cannot be ignored.
